hint that they will actually break compiling.

Also, the ubuntu.sh on http://www.cinepaint.org/download.html runs
autogen.sh, which does not exist in this tarball.

And ubuntu.sh was obviously not even test run once after its last edit:

needs to be

And you should add cvs to the apt-get install line in ubuntu-cvs.sh.
