Was finally able to compile fully.

It had been my mistaken impression that there would be major build
issues for Debian and/or Lenny. But I' found out that this is not true,
and that the code is clean.

In my previous email, I had written that the plugin "ICC Examin" was
unable to link to GLU...

What I found out, is that ICC Examin only does so indirectly, via
"FTGL". After installing FTGL as well as some other enhancements
(dependencies), I was able to compile 0.25.0 fully.

BTW, I'm not experienced enough with SF mailing lists, to know whether
I'm supposed to be able to add a reply to some threads. Probably not.
But these previous emails won't need any further attention from the
developers.
