Hi, I'm new to the list, forgive me if this has been discussed before. I searched and found nothing. Here's the problem: it appears that curves are not applied to all pixels, some pixels are left out. I posted an example at http://tachyon.uwaterloo.ca/~plangfelder/CinepaintCurvesProblem/ . The file http://tachyon.uwaterloo.ca/~plangfelder/CinepaintCurvesProblem/tmp.jpg is the original, sizes for easy viewing. The file http://tachyon.uwaterloo.ca/~plangfelder/CinepaintCurvesProblem/tmp-curves.jpg has had a (rather extreme, I admit) curve applied in the green channel that took the green levels down by a lot. Notice that some pixels retained their original colors. I'm willing to go digging through curves.c, but perhaps this is something simple that can be fixed quickly by people who already know the tool. I have noticed this in 0.21-1 and 0.18 as well, it seems to be an old problem. It happens on 16-bit tiffs as well as 8-bit jpgs. It is also present if one tries to change the value channel rather than the individual colors.
