Hi all,

I'm currently trying to edit a few low-res videos on
DVD, and I wonder inhowfar CinePaint could be used
for this (particularly for color correction.) In what
format would I have to convert the videos (I think they
are MPEG-2 encoded). Cineon? What software could
I use for this?

The downside: The PC on which I want to edit the
videos has Win XP installed, and I recall that someone
on the list wrote that the compilation of CinePaint for
Windows was difficult. Has "Glasgow" developed
enough in the meantime to be used for this? Does it
support stabilizing the footage (which is partially
shaky)?

TIA,

Claus
