First, it should be #sudo apt-get install cinepaint second, it is no longer in the repositories (aarg) see this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=806010&highlight=Cinepaint I have tried compiling from source and hit dependency hell... I tried the suggested .deb's and got errors. I am waiting for a proper Ubuntu package to surface...
