[CinePaint] Cinepaint 0.25-0 Crashes

All,

I've got cinepaint0.25-0 compiled from CVS running on Ubuntu 8.04 with
elektra-0.7.0 and oyranos-0.1.9 also installed.  It seems to be running
well except for crashes associated with icc profile transformations and
color management.  It's been a while since I've used a debugger, but I'm
installing gdb and some  debugger front ends to try and see if I can
figure out what's blowing up. In the meantime I have attached the term
dump attached below from running cinepaint when it crashes.

Thanks for providing cinepaint.  I've been using Linux at home for quite
a while now (since 1996) and cinepaint is a wonderful program for
digital photography.  I recently bought a new monitor (Dell 248WFP),
colorimeter (DTP-94) and used ArgyllCMS to calibrate the monitor.  I'd
like to use the color management features of cinepaint to make sure I've
got my color profiles set properly.

Please take a look at the crash attached below and let me know if you
can see what I'm doing wrong.  All I've done is started the program, and
then selected File->Preferences.  The crash starts at "*** glibc
detected *** cinepaint: malloc(): memory corruption (fast):".  I've
compiled and used cinepaint in the past and have never had this problem
before, but I was not using the color management features as much.
