However, there may be some problems with the script. For one thing, it will download the entire cinepaint-project tree, which includes cinepaint and a lot of other things as well. You may or may not want this. To down load just the cinepaint CVS source, from a temporary build directory execute the command: cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous-umaFjWZdy0gO46yPcjbmJ5G/[email protected]:/cvsroot/cinepaint co cinepaint-project/cinepaint Then, following the script, do these commands: cd cinepaint-project/cinepaint/ ./autogen.sh ./configure But before you run autogen.sh, you have to set the execute permissions: chmod 0777 autogen.sh Now the source will compile and you will have cinepaint-0.25.
