The system should be finding those without LDFLAGS.  Is your
/usr/lib a symbolic link to /usr/lib64?  It should be.

It's on CVS.

Just cd to a temporary directory and run this command:

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous-umaFjWZdy0gO46yPcjbmJ5G/[email protected]:/cvsroot/cinepaint co cinepaint-project/cinepaint

Then cd to cinepaint-project/cinepaint and do this command:

./autogen.sh  (you may have to set execute permissions first)

Now configure as usual.

I think the CVS source has to be patched.  I use the Gentoo version
but others are available.

On this list, a few months back, Kai-Uwe Behrmann posted a link
to an updated version.  Check the archives.

Also, here is a link to a patched Rawhide RPM source.  Since CentOS
is based on RedHat, you may be able to use it.  In any case, you can
always install the patches manually, following the instructions
in cinepaint.spec from the RPM.
