Thanks for everyone's patience. Sorry I haven't been able to help with 
the build issues you've been reporting and that we've had to resort to 
using patches.

I have a new version of CinePaint I'm completing that has a reworked 
build system to avoid these types of problems. I didn't get it done 
before coming back from the holidays, and I've been on heavy overtime 
with my studio job since then.

If nothing else intrudes, I expect a new CinePaint release in about two 
weeks.
