Try downloading the patch file again and apply it as I described
before. I updated the patch to add the requisite -lm. Or you can add
-lm to Makefile.in in the plugins/edge subdirectory of the cinepaint
source. The -lm needs to be added to the line that defines edge_LDADD
but if you don't know how Makefiles work, you may want to go the patch
route.
