[CinePaint] Color profiles on CinePaint 1.0.-4

Hi,


after installing CinePaint from a .deb file (I'm using Ubuntu 
16.04),CinePaint doesn't recognize the sRGB profile 
(sRGB_v4_ICC_preference.icc) in my ICC Profiles folder.

(All the other profiles, among them Adobe RGB, are being recognized.) 
Does anybody can give me a clue where the problem

might be? I'm new to color management.

And: How does the Splines tool & Spline Edit work?

P.S.: I get a lot of error messages in the shell when I start & run 
CinePaint, such as

'(cinepaint:3298): Gdk-CRITICAL **: IA__gdk_draw_text: assertion 'font 
!= NULL' failed'

Can I ignore those errors?
