Hi,
Forgive me if this question has been asked 100 times already, and also that
I have no clue about what I'm doing!

I just tried installing CinePaint. First I downloaded X11 and installed
that. Then I downloaded CP. But, what I got, is not the package described on
the website that you should have after downloading the program. All I have
is a folder with lots of separate files in it. There is no installer to
click and no prompts to follow as I understand that there should be. So I am
wondering what on earth I am doing wrong. I even tried downloading over
again to be sure, but the result is exactly the same. I have no clue about
what to do.

Could somebody please guide me? Explain to me in an easy to understand way?

Thanks a lot, it is truly appreciated! I so much would like to try this and
also other open source programs like OpenOffice... :)

PP :)
