Ubuntu is the easiest Linux install I have ever done. I installed it on an existing Windows system using the partition utility that comes with it. It repartitioned the drive with no loss to any Windows data. I installed this on my wife's Sony laptop [I wasn't going to risk my own system at first :) ] and it seems to handle the laptop hardware better than Windows. Once installed, adding software through the software manager is easier than Windows and OSX. I'm intrigued by the coLinux (thanks for the heads up) but I would be skeptical of any graphics app running through VNC. I'd stick to booting directly into Ubuntu to dedicate all the RAM to Linux. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
