Ppen /Applications/CinePaint.app/Contents/MacOS/cinepaint in your 
favourite editor, probably vim?

Edit the lines with 
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=$FANCY_VAR/usr/local/lib:xxx/xx/xxx:yyy/y/yy/
to
DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH=xxx/xx/xxx:yyy/y/yy/:$FANCY_VAR/usr/local/lib
