Cant say much about with only this information. Eighter move the 
~/.cinepaint directory away or run with gdb to obtain a backtrace.
shell# gdb cinepaint
... reproduce the crash
shell# bt
... attach the output to an email to the devel-list or to me.

UFRaw is in its standalone form not suitable to run as a plug-in. You 
would need to build the plug-in after cinepaint is installed and 
cinepainttool can be found by UFRaw. UFRaw (0.12?) with CinePaint support 
is not yet released. You'd have to use UFRaw from CVS currently.

GTK2 has changed many interfaces. So I dont know what these messages mean.

CinePaint has some defaults for ICC profiles. If they are not found some 
messages will be emitted. Nothing to worry as long as you dont want colour 
management.

The older rawphoto plug-in runs here. The editing tools of raw images are 
available in CinePaint. Alternatively, UFRaw with its preview has many 
just in one place.
