Sara, http://linuxwiki.de/CheckInstall this ? As I understand, it can build packages for you. Interessting. Anyway what would CinePaint need to support there? Is'nt it an outside program? In CinePaint's make is now available: make install make DESTDIR=/home/my/path/test install make rpm The first two are autotools standards. The later is provided by the maintainers. kind regards Kai-Uwe Behrmann -- developing for colour management www.behrmann.name + www.oyranos.org + www.cinepaint.org Am 13.06.07, 18:03 -0400 schrieb Sara Vasquez: > that I am when I compile from source I cannot use checkinstall; I have to > use make-install with its a small pain because I like to use the > checkinstall package on my other computers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
