It should be possbly to create a script-fu script for such a task. You find the DB browser and the script-fu console in the toolbox' script menu. A very basic example is: $ cinepaint -b "(file-tiff-load 1 \"`echo $PWD`/test.tif\" \"test.tif\")" "(gimp-display-new 1)" "(gimp-quit 0)" It will open test.tif, then display it and imediately close the session. Can you continue from here in write your own script?
