[CinePaint] detail in cinepaint, smoothing, accuracy (was: Re: controversial)

the above is the best representation I've seen yet of this NEF image.
1) expected level of noise in blacks due to low exposure.
2) sharp focus with shallow depth of field, plane being roughly at
the console edge just below the SONY logo of the monitor.
3) color balance: just a little green in the midrange, which isn't a
problem in terms of existing lighting and is eminently
correctable.
I'll work now on trying to get this result with Frank's notes.
