A couple of questions: Using FILE > OPEN ... my Canon CR2 images are automatically converted to tiff for display purposes. Should this happen? Other raw converters all appear to leave the material in the fully raw format during the conversion process. If I drag a raw file from the file manager into CinePaint (as proposed in the write-up) there appears to be a directory rejection. A final question: Can somebody point me towards a set of RGB values that I can use to generate and print a test card. My current card just does not have the 'subtleties' and dynamic range to do justice to this process.
