I have a lap-top CQ ARMADA e500 1000Khz with ATI RAGE MOILITY P/M AGP 2X.
I would like tu use a 3d featurex, compiz, xgl ecc with my mandriva linux
cooker 2006.0
I think I have a problem with DRI. I think it is non possible to
load DRI because my graphic interface ATI RAGE MOBILITY P/M AGP 2x has a
little video-memory (only 8mb), so may be, I can't use 3D features.
Hereafter I paste an abstract of my /var/log/Xorg0.log

What do you think about this? Can I have a chance tu use 3D features
with my hardware? May be possible to use DRI with 8Mb of video.ram?
Can I hope to recompile a DRI driver to do it?
In DRI web site I have downloaded
http://dri.freedesktop.org/snapshots/mach64-20060403-linu..> 03-Apr-2006
08:24
I think I have a way to try to compile a DRI kernel module with this
snapshot, but I need some help info in order to do it.
Many thanks in advance.
Best Regards
George
