Snapshots are not developed ay more, so it could be outdated. Anyway, it
looks that freedesktop developers do not work any more improoving macch64
cards.
Last snapshots did not work with my mach64 card, try a snapshot from some
mounths before you tried.

You only need to compile and install libdrm and drm.
I got a problem: triangles in the borders of the screen when using 3D
applications. It is solved compiling Mesa with -fno-strict-aliasing flag.
You can either recompile your distro's Mesa src.rpm with this flag, or
compile and install Mesa from here:
http://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/Building adding -fno-strict-aliasing flag
where it is explained there.
I have a mach64 card with 8 M ram an I've got 3D rendering.
