DRI / radeon Drivers: no way to get it work. PCIExpress related?

Hi guys,
I m desesperatly trying to get rid of my no DRI in my radeonRV370 PCI
express card.
i use this:
Portage 2.1.1-r2 (default-linux/x86/2006.1, gcc-4.1.1, glibc-2.4-r4,
