First of all, first post, so "Hi!" Okay, that's that (: I'm having a pretty hard time understanding what exactly to do to get an ATI Rage Mobility P to display 3D on a TV. I found some information at http://www.retinalburn.com/linux/ but I'm kind of a linux noob and would like some advice rather than finding everything out by trial and error and possibly several OS reinstallations... Basically, I gathered from that page that I have to - build the current X.org DDX driver with DRI enabled - get the client driver from Mesa CVS, - get the DRM kernel module from DRI CVS Sounds like a nice short list, but I have no clue how to do the first one... I started reading http://wiki.x.org/wiki/ CompileXserverManually and I feel stupid now ^^ Do I really need all those dependencies and stuff to build the DDX driver? thanks in advance, Nils ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
