That dual-cpu configuration with this chipset is probably not that common (for people using r200 dri), which might have something to do why it doesn't work for you. It would really help if you could use git bisect to find the commit where it broke (though I guess it could be a change in either drm, mesa, or even ddx). > The BIOS said that that was a driver setting. I think fastwrites typically will just lock up when you launch X, though it's disabled by default anyway.
