Hi there,
The DRI has stopped working since I updated from my 2.6.18 to 2.6.19
(2.6.20 will not work either).
Here's an example error :
[madcat@boiteux ~]$ LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxgears
libGL: XF86DRIGetClientDriverName: 1.6.4 i915 (screen 0)
libGL: OpenDriver: trying /usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 4, (OK)
drmOpenByBusid: Searching for BusID pci:0000:00:02.0
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 4, (OK)
drmOpenByBusid: drmOpenMinor returns 4
drmOpenByBusid: drmGetBusid reports pci:0000:00:02.0
libGL error: drmMap of framebuffer failed (Invalid argument)
libGL error: reverting to (slow) indirect rendering

Updating mesa and libdrm from git does not solve the problem. It looks
like the ioctl in dri_util.c from libdrm is not adapted to the newer
kernels, or maybe it's the i810 driver ? I haven't got the knowledge to
write a patch, so I'd be glad if anybody could help. I'm still using
2.6.18 for now.

Regards
Adrien BUSTANY
