Screen Corruption (rv280 || mesa-6.5)

I'm having screen corruption problems when compiling CVS of blender,
especially when selecting in object mode. What happens is that after
selecting, much of the workspace is garbled up, with pink lines going
in all directions.

I'm on GNU/Linux-2.6.18-rt7 with mesa-6.5 on xorg-server-1.1.0, ATI
Radeon 9250 (rv280) using DRI.

Anyone see this?. I've tried the blender and xorg mailing lists, but
no answer. It might be that I'm using the development branch of mesa,
but has anyone seen this?;).

Any pointers as to what I can try?
