Mobility Radeon 7500 very slow...?

Hi All, I have (Notebook N620c) Mobility 7500 32MB.... the ATI driver can go only starting from 8500....! the OpenSource "radeon" driver is very slow :( does it give possibly makes as faster? HyperZ is activated and I all options in xorg.conf tried out and Ut2004 have only 15FPS and under Windows has 35fps or 40FPS :( (my English is not so good sorry) why is OpenSource driver "radeon" so slow?
