current status of libdrm-2.4.0

Hi,

I would like to know what's the current status of libdrm, but as I don't
know if this is a right question, I would like to explain myself:

By taking a quick look at the Koji build system for Fedora project, I
see there's series of builds based on different stages of development of
libdrm, the latest build done on Friday, 30th November of 2007,
performed by Dave Airlie.

The ChangeLog states the following:

* Fri Nov 30 2007 Dave Airlie <[email protected]> - 2.4.0-0.2
- Update to a newer upstream snapshot

I take this page as a reference on obtaining information of the current
development & testing stage of libdrm, among the gitweb.freedesktop.org
mesa/drm section.

There's been nearly 13 months (last change leading to version 2.3.0
marked as of November 8th of 2006) since the last version of libdrm and
now I see there's this libdrm-2.4.0 mark on the Koji system, my question
is:

Are we getting a new 'stable' release of libdrm in the next weeks or do
we have to continue using git clones to obtain the latest code available
until the next year (if it's going to be releases at all, I mean...)?

I'm curious as we'll have xserver-1.4.1 real soon (or it looks like that
given the fact one of the blocker bugs (#9240 IIRC) is gone there's only
one more bug left) I thought maybe there will be also a new release of
libdrm.
