I saw tha= t recent development had fixed some problems, so I followed the "Building" = instructions at dri.freedesktop.org to get the latest source code via anong= it. Everything seemed to go pretty well all the way through the building p= rocess, until I restarted the X server afterwards. The /var/log/Xorg.0.log= looks good until near the very end, where I find these lines: [...] (EE) ATI(0) : [dri] ATIDRIScreenInit failed because of a version mismatch. [dri] mach64.o kernel module version is 2.0.0, but version 1.0 or greater i= s needed. [dri]=0A= Disabling DRI. [...] ??? I must be missing something, because I don't understand this error mes= sage at all (to put it politely). Can anyone help?
