Trying to rip Mortal Kombat 1 to xvid

I hope one of you guys can help me.  I'm trying to rip the first Mortal Kombat movie to xvid using dvd::rip however I can't get the audio to sync.  The movie is in PAL so I've tried using the -M 1 and -M 3 parameters but with no success, can anyone suggest anything else I can try?
