Ripping via console

Hi.
I'm trying to rip several movies automatically.
So at first i wanted to test it so i ran it. This was the result:
        jens@record:~> dvdrip -f transcode HouseS02-4.rip
        Can't locate object method "error_dialog" via package 
"Video::DVDRip::GUI::Main" at 
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Video/DVDRip/GUI/Main.pm line 173.

I have no idea what linux is trying to tell me (probably because i am 
new to linux).
Could please anyone help me? Thanks for any help.
