For dvdrip I'm using
dvdrip.x86_64             0.98.9-6.fc10
dvdrip-master.x86_64  0.98.9-6.fc10

transcode is:
transcode.x86_64         1.0.7-2.fc10

I'm assuming they were installed from rpmfusion-free.
I went ahead and deleted these three and built the fc11 versions from 
src.rpm files.
Had the same error.
Removed all the xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs packages and the errors went 
away, so that is the problem.
Reinstalled xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs packages and the original fc10 
versions then ran these two commands:

$ LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib64/libGL.so.1
$ export LD_PRELOAD

Then start dvdrip from the command line.
Everything now works, ALMOST.

The avi file after transcoding has bunches of little blue blocks 
appearing at the edge of objects.
Here is a couple examples:

Tried two pass and single pass. Tried different DVDs. Same results.
Suggestions?
