Setting default values for the Transcode tab

Hi All,
Is there something I can add to ~/.dvdriprc so that when I call up the 
"Transcode" tab the
"Video Bitrate Calculation" sub-tab is already set to "Manually" and the 
"Video bitrate kbits/s" is set to 1000.
For me this is usually the default values.
