Dear all,

I'm running openSUSE 11.0 / KDE 3.5.9.
I use dvd::rip to obtain a DiVX output with hard-encoded subtitles. It always worked fine, untill openSUSE upgraded Transcode to version 1.1.0. As from Transcode 1.1.0, it has become impossible even to display subtitles in the Transcode preview pane (Render Subtitle on movie / Preview window from the Subtitles tab), although they appear in the Subtitle preview pane from the Subtitles tab.
On another pc running Debian 5, I do not experience this problem.
This lets me suppose that the problem might be Transcode version related.
Please find hereafter the Dependency check.

fping not installed [although it is installed]
  hal 0.5.11

Can you help me out?
Many thanks in advance.
