Hello

  I confirm. A piece of information which may help: when the dvd is mounted by 
hal, the mount point may contain white spaces, like:
"/media/my dvd"
in my dvdrip logs, the mount point then appears as:
"/media/my040dvd"

I can provide you with more details tonight when I come back home.
