No video data in avi

Hi 

after installation of 0.98.10 and all the tools.
I get the the error: avilib - AVI file has no video data

first pass xvid4 seems to work normal.
second pass takes only a view seconds 
and while merging the audio I get this error.

single pass does not work at all.

What did I forget?
