Hi list,

I have a question about dvdrom-drives; I noticed that I'm able to rip my
dvd's with an older external dvd-burner.
I have a internal drive here in my Lenovo Thinkpad T61 and another
external drive which is located in my HP- printer (but it will attached
as the other external drive to the system (NetBSD)).
With both drives I can't rip the same dvd. It stops (the process bar ~60
- 80 %) and the progamm doesn't do anything... I have to quit and
restart.

Ok, the funny thing is now that I can rip the dvd with one drive... Are
there any limitations in newer drives (or simply notebook drives)?

Greetings,
Helge
