You can create DVD compatible MPEG2 files as well, but dvd::rip does this by transcoding, so with quality loss. You could use dvd::rip to dump the raw VOB files (containing all audio and subtitles) to disk and then manually use a DVD creating tool to build two DVD5 discs out of them.
