I've been rolling the same idea around in my head for a little while, especially the part about copying/changing the FXD file. I don't know that I'd need it copied to a new directory (I'd be happy to have the encoded file replace the originally recorded one for TV shows) but that would be a good option to have too.

But the automatic updating of the existing FXD would be a wonderful thing. ^_^
