Support for http based streams in fxds in freevo2?

  Hi,

I'm thinking of rewriting the appletrailers plugin for freevo2. My 
approach was going to use fxds to hold the info on the trailers but I 
can't get a standard fxd with a video file set to a http location to 
work. I hacked a bit in freevo2/plugins/video/__init__.py but then ran 
into other problems in mediaitem.py because of my changes.

I've looked through the wiki and the kaa docs that exist at 
http://doc.freevo.org/api/kaa/ but there isn't much there to go on.

Am I missing something or does freevo2 just not support web based 
streams in at the moment?
