The original date of the 28th November has definitely slipped and I'm 
happy to accept something like this now. I've still got a lot of patches 
to go though on the tracker so I suspect that the true date for a Beta or 
RC (possibly) will be more like the middle of December. It seems that 
finally putting a date out there for a final release help galvanise people 
into uploading any patches they had :-).
