Okay, i'm not an expert by any means, indeed I only enrolled on this=20
list recently, but due to the lack of other replies and an idea that=20
did occur to me, I shall put my head in the lions mouth and venture=20
forth with a possible solution:

Might it be the config of the video player software? I use Xine, and=20
has never exhibited the behaviour you describe. But I've read others=20
use mplayer or VLC or whatever. Might the feature you've been using be=20
part of that config instead of in the freevo config itself? Especially=20
since it sounds like you've re-installed so might you be now using a=20
different player? I'm guessing, but y'know ... if it helps.

It's just an idea, apologies if I broke the silence.
