I looked at my Berlin/config.log again and noticed that it seems to be looking for omniORB.h in the wrong place: configure:6271: g++ -o conftest -pipe -I/usr/include/libpng12 -DPNG_THREAD_UNSAFE_OK -DPNG_USE_PNGGCCRD -D_REENTRANT -I/home/user/Fresco/omniORB-4.0.1/install/include -L/usr/lib -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib -lpng12 -lz -lm -lz -lm conftest.cc -lpng -lpthread -lomniORB4 -L/home/user/Fresco/omniORB-4.0.1/install/lib -lomnithread >&5 configure:6280:19: omniORB: No such file or directory A few lines down, it says: configure: failed program was: | #line 6254 "configure" | /* confdefs.h. */ [ defines and ifdefs deleted ] | #include <omniORB> Looks like it is looking for the omniORB include in /home/user/Fresco/omniORB-4.0.1/install/include while omniORB.h actually is in /home/user/Fresco/omniORB-4.0.1/install/include/omniORB4/. I made a symlink named omniORB.h in the directory it expects it in, but kept getting the same error. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? Before you ask, I'm running configure with --with-omniorb-prefix=/home/user/Fresco/omniORB-4.0.1/install.
