Hello everyone, I posted this question on the "FrescoVsXComments" section of the Fresco.org website, but this forum is a better place. I have a question about 3D acceleration in Fresco. According to this message: ttp://lists.fresco.org/pipermail/fresco-devel/2003-March/019089.html <http://lists.fresco.org/pipermail/fresco-devel/2003-March/019089.html> One has to use SDL with the DGA driver (i.e. SDL on X) in order to get 3D acceleration for Fresco via SDL under Linux. I know that the nVidia OpenGL library (which is hardware accelerated) is tied to the nVidia Linux kernel module. Is there a way to get Fresco to load the nVidia Linux kernel module (nvidia.o) in order to access graphic cards direclty? Or is the nVidia Linux kernel module X specfic? Is the idea behind the nVidia kernel module the same as what the KGI project is trying to do? websjr __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
