Yes, judging from your server.log omni is fine. So it must be our problem, how 
annoying ;-)

Can you run the start the server without a client and start the demo in 
another window Yes, Fresco can run in X too, you'll get a window then. Way 
nicer to work on that way with a couple of xterms and the fresco server 
window visible at once;-). You might want to export ORBtraceLevel=30 to get 
debugging output from omniORB too. It helps to see what is send over the 
wire.

Please keep trying and report any findings to us. It works for us, so we nned 
you to point out problems:-)
