I'm going to try to build Fresco on cgywin on Windows
XP as soon as my DSL operator get back online (still a
few more dependancies to download). There is DJCPP for
Windows, so I don't think mingwin32 is needed. But I
think the only problem would be pthreads, as cgwin
doesn't support it in full.

Besides, I think the only reason why Fresco would need
to be ported to Windows is just to show how portable
it is (hehehe, :P). If a full port is done, I think
just porting libwarsaw and other stuff needed to run
Fresco apps, in a Windows enviroment, but then, there
isn't any Fresco apps to shout about :p.
