[Fresco-devel] Problem running server + demo

Hi,

I downloaded a fresh code-tree from cvs.fresco.org of Fresco, and built
it in a separate build directory - I use debian, and having installed
each necessary extra package the code built without any hiccups.

I tried running the server, it fired up, a window appeared and the
cursor appeared inside it.  Whenever I attempted to run a demo as well,
it would seem to run, but nothing would appear in the Fresco window.  I
can move the cursor around, but no extra windows appear or anything.

I tried using -c SDL to use the SDL console, -d to make sure I'm using
libArt.  I haven't tried GLDrawingKit yet, but I have tried GGI console.

I also tried starting the server with -e <path-to>/demo.

I happened to install the Fresco build with 'make install', which means
it's all residing in /usr/local/lib,bin.  I set PYTHONPATH and
LD_LIBRARY_PATH as appropriate - in fact I get no errors at all.

I have attached a server.log file (the output of server -l).

Can anyone offer any help?
