Well, it probably makes sense to stick it in a static page, since I
think we'll want to refer to it from a lot of places (possibly include
it in the release announcements (if we do those at all), linked from
all the main entry points to the site, etc.).  But whatever works.

Speaking of which, though, we really should update the FAQ to reflect
the change; there are a number of questions (like "So what's the
history of the project?" one) that should probably be updated to
reflect the "New Era" ;-).
