nameclt is how you test omniNames.  But, if you're using M2, then
you're not using omniNames (unless you're explicitly trying to, but
you shouldn't be).  So it doesn't matter whether your omniNames setup
is broken or not.

You might try passing "-l" to the server, to enable logging.
