Could you please try the current version from CVS? We changed to
requireing gcc 3.2 just before the release (because I was stupid and did
not check a patch of mine with gcc 2.95.x :-) and have fixed those warnings
since then.

The other problems should go away with a more recent version of omniorb andi
freetype IIRC.
